I am so excited for this year's Project Life. This is my 3rd year...plus I'm in the middle of Addie's 1st so I guess technically it's my 4th 'year'.
I love the concept of PL...capturing the little stuff, the everyday stuff, the important stuff.
The stuff that doesn't always get scrapbooked but is still important to remember.
I plan on doing another post about my ideas about Project Life & organization. But for now, here's my cover page.
Everything is from the Clementine kit with the exception of the AC thickers, a MME sticker & the black polka dot paper.
I'm keeping things simple here folks. Some weeks I may embellish more than others. But my goal is to get it done while the memories are fresh in my mind & not get behind like last year (still catching up on that).
I decided to use 2 cards in the top left spot instead of a 4x6 card. I'll just back them with 2 more cards for the 1st week to make it uniform. I simply embellished the card with a piece of scrap paper cut with a scallop circle punch along with the number 5 and a heart I cut from red burlap.
When I was creating the cover page I toyed with the idea of putting some journaling about the upcoming year. In the end I decided to keep it simple, just putting the year & our family name. I've seen some people add a 6x12 page protector in front of the cover page so I may end up going back & doing that. But for now I like it & I'll leave it as is.
And that's it! I'll be back tomorrow with week 1. Eek!! So excited :)

Your blog is lovely Michelle! I tried to sign up as a follower but it wanted to create my own typepad blog - so all a bit confusing - but will keep trying! Your snow tubing looks like so much fun & I just love the cupcakes!! I'm following you on Pinterest now too :)
